New Music: Eli Sostre - "Blame"

Brooklyn native Eli Sostre is someone I would call a Vibe Master.

Regardless of your preferences, it's really hard to not enjoy his music. What he creates is more than just a bunch of songs. Utilizing a singing/rapping hybrid, Sostre chefs up the perfect little concoctions that are extremely pleasing to our ears and minds alike.

In other words; It's a vibe.

Last Summer, he dropped his first project,  Still Up All NightThe 11-track EP is heavily produced by fellow New Yorker Soriano. The two are extremely compatible, explaining why Soriano has production credits on the majority of Sostre's discography. A vibe couldn't be a vibe without fire production, right?  Releasing a single here or there, Eli has kept himself busy and is almost ready to drop his first full length album.

Linking with Soriano, the Vibe Master recently released his newest vibe, Blame. It's a story line we're all too familiar with, but with a twist. Relationship woes; but the man takes the blame? I'm listening. (And I love that Aaliyah sample at the beginning.)

Sleep is for The Weak drops July 21st. Until then, vibe out to Blame below.
